• Importance of Absolute Freedom By Man – From Free Will Gift By Our Creator

Freedom – true, absolute freedom of mankind – is one of the most critical aspects that *must* be followed by any government we live under from a purely religious point of view. Why is that…?

Our Creator endowed us with an absolute free will. That Creator of ours hardly had to do so, but rather did so in gifting us with a most blessed concept and a commandment for how mankind must live: Free, in every conceivable way imaginable. Therefore, we who live in democratic societies must NEVER vote for authoritarian or some such governments or politicians. Remember, Hitler was elected to office by the German Republic – he did not suddenly seize power by a coup de tat.

And so we must remain ever mindful to never give up the freedoms we have earned and have commanded by our Creator. Frankly, it scares me when a democratically elected leader says things like they wish his people acted like the North Koreans in worshipping that leader, or else they should have a lifetime appointment to office, as recently happened in China. This is definitively not to get political here – it is a simple reaction to unthinkable words to anyone who believes our own Creator gifted and desired immutable free will to all. When a leader says they are having a deep love affair with a North Korean leader who had his own uncle – and so many others in a purge that would fit right in with the Purge films and TV series – killed in unthinkable, horrific ways: The uncle’s nephew, O Sang-Hon was burnt alive by a flame thrower; the uncle and another official? Death by anti-aircraft machine guns, before being burnt to a crisp by… you guessed it! Flamethrowers.

We must forever keep our most basic rights to absolute freedom, and condemn and refute or resist any and all who would take that away from us in any conceivable way. For, again, it is what our Divine Creator almost demanded of us by gifting us with absolute free will. This means that, as adults, we should be able to engage in any way so long as no others are truly negatively effected by said action. We simply must forever retain that freedom, one we still haven’t reached as of yet – many actions are considered illegal and banned that should not be.

Whether this means gay marriage, women’s rights, minority rights or whatever. Even the so-called “War on Drugs!!!!!”, in going after primarily marijuana, a substance that hardly has any worse repercussions than alcohol, denies us that freedom to make that choice for ourselves. I also firmly believe we have a right to make decisions which might eventually harm ourselves – like smoking or other such things. As long as no one else faces harm from it, that choice is our divinely gifted right to make for ourselves as sentient adult beings.

Now as to why this absolute freedom is so important from my own perspective of the Creator Creating by way of Simulated Reality…? Well then, look no further than my previous posts on our existential purpose and the reason we were so Created: To have our Creator “cultivate” as many DIFFERENT sentient conscious beings as was possible. A distinct removal or lack of those freedoms as human beings…? It also takes away our right to be so very different! Think on the worst authoritarian states of human civilization: They one and all sought to find a human population that was little more than brainwashed robots who were one and all the same.

This stands in absolute opposition to our Creators intentions and desires for us as human beings. Therefore, any such authoritarian or limitation on our freedoms is almost standing as an enemy to the ways of our Creator and that Creator’s intentions and desires for us to enjoy. A positive side effect of this was surely creating as many distinct human consciousnesses as proved possible, in creating a veritable rainbow of human sentient individuals to enjoy our afterlives in our Creator’s higher plane of existence alongside the rest of mankind that have passed from this Earth in something much like a garden of unique and exceptional intelligent conscious beings.

So we must therefore always resist any and all efforts or laws aimed at taking away any such freedoms – and equally so, promote and ensure passage of such laws to ensure freedoms exist for us. Should one live in a distinctly authoritarian state today…? Then one must always seek to resist in any way possible – because God commanded it be so – in seeking to restore a government of absolute freedom for one’s citizens.

You simply cannot have truly different and distinct sentient consciousness develop under such authoritarian governments. They seek to cling to their power by developing a populace of identical sameness, brainwashed into “behaving” and worshipping that government and its “Dear Leadership”. This is utterly wrong and downright offensive to our Creator’s intentions for us to ALL enjoy.

The “utopia” on this Earth of ours comes from a civilization based on absolute freedoms for all the many billions of us. We must seek this out and ensure it to be just so. Again, anything else goes directly against our Creator’s designs and desires for us to have at this point in our civilization. We must all seek to become ourselves: who we are meant to be. This means following whatever path, no matter how strange or outlandish it might seem, so long as no others are harmed in so doing.

So just remember: Our freedoms are a divine commandment by our Creator, one we must all seek for ourselves and all others who share this Creation with us. It ensures our afterlife will be as truly spectacular as possible, populated not with sheep of absolute sameness, but rather as distinctly different and “themselves” as proves possible. Our freedom is something we must fight for, no matter what. If not for ourselves, for our children and all those that inherit this Earth from us. They must know absolute and complete freedom for themselves, just as we should know it today for ourselves.

  • (Minor) Evidence Towards a Simulated Existence: Jewish and Gregorian Calendars Recurrence Cycle

In celebration of the Jewish holidays we’re just now in the midst of, I came across a most interesting and peculiar curiosity in the midst of recently doing some quality reading & learning: Something of a truly astounding coincidence, if coincidence is indeed all we choose to label it as! (Clearly, I see something else just here; a something special that’s, just perhaps!- a bit more than any mere coincidence in all of this.) The topic area for my latest bizarre quirk? It was regarding the Hebrew Calendar, as I sought to read up on exactly how that process works and the repetition or cycles found with their calendar.

Personally, I always find it most incredible indeed to take a step back and think on the matter from a more rationalized perspective, but even then shall we discover many different pitfalls into sheer and utter madness itself! If and view such things in a light like, “Roshashana fell on a Tuesday that was on October 2nd… now then, when will the next time come around where the three come into alignment, – and just how very old will I myself be?!” Well, more often than not…? The end result is me cursing myself for my inquisitiveness as the revelation of an answer makes me feel older than dirt just now: “I’ll be 89!?!?” I think to myself in a blind panic. I surely think to myself then and there. It quite makes for a humbling little experience, to say the very absolute least about it!

The article that first exposed me to this bizarre quirk can be found here: https://en.m.wikibooks.org/wiki/Mathematics_of_the_Jewish_Calendar/The_recurrence_period_of_the_calendar And, more specifically still, when it comes to what I’ll be discussing at the end hereabouts/the point of this entire post, the very final section found at the preceding link is what you need to keep an eye out for. However, rather than make you read through all of that, all on your very own (just as I myself did!), let me attempt to instead summarize everything for you here and now!

The Jewish Calendar is actually a most fascinating thing upon close examination (i.e.: a four hour Wikipedia binge, but of course!) of all of it. The means it follows in order to decide what dates fall when is based off of the lunisolar calendar, in which such things are derived from the cycle of the Moon and the Sun. Furthermore, it utilizes the 19 year Metonic Cycle to bring it into alignment with solar years, as lunar years are typically 11 days shorter than solar ones. This requires the addition of an extra month every two to three years, marking 7 years with a leap month in every 19 year Metonic Cycle.

Ah, but things are not merely so simple as all of that! This 19 year process of adding in leap months is *still* not enough to fix the discrepancy between the lunar and solar calendar! (And, if you’re anything like me, at this point you’re starting to become *really* glad we use something so “simple” as the Gregorian calendar! It seems much more straightforward to “fix” and keep in solar alignment, something we only take cycles of 400 years in order to accomplish as such.) For indeed, after 19 years of trying to fix things, we still find ourselves off by 6 minutes and 40 seconds with the tropical year.

Therefore, every 216 years, the Hebrew calendar will find itself still falling one day behind the average tropical year, just as it takes 231 years for it to fall one day behind the Gregorian year. All these games of trying to fix things and retain alignment with such systems means the recurrence rate for when certain dates fall from year to year and repeat themselves exactly is exceptionally large.

By and large, the Hebrew calendar repeats itself on a cycle of 247 years. However, those 247 years still find it being off by about 50 minutes on average. So, in order for the Hebrew calendar to repeat itself *exactly*, we find that the true, exact cycle is on the order of 689,472 years!!!

Now here’s where it gets interesting. Recall I mentioned the Gregorian calendar you most likely use yourself recycles itself every 400 years? Well then, for the Gregorian *and* the Hebrew calendar to come into alignment with each other when accounting for these various cycles, we find it necessary to multiply the 20,871 weeks that are in 400 Gregorian years by all those incredible (and downright inconceivable!) 689,472 years!

And so it is here that we find the odd little curiosity in this, and the reason for my writing this here little posting of mine. If you should want to do that – to discover how many years the cycle is for the Gregorian and Hebrew calendars to both come into alignment with one another and repeat themselves absolutely exactly, we indeed multiply 20,871 by 689,472.

Should one care to do so…? (Well, I’ll do it for you here!) The answer comes out to be a mind boggling 14,389,970,112 Hebrew years, and 14,390,140,400 Gregorian ones!

Now then, and now that we have everything down, why is it I even bothered writing all of this to begin with…? What meaning have those 14,390,140,400 years that would create such a spark in my noggin? Well, 14.3 billion years (with a B!) is pretty darn close to the currently accepted age of our universe as we now know the Big Bang model to indicate!

So it was that I found it most peculiar: Firstly, that it takes such a downright impossible number of years in order for the Gregorian and Hebrew calendars to come into absolutely perfect alignment with one another, and repeat themselves in order to begin the process all anew! Then, and clearly more importantly still, the truly impossible odds that, when we are looking at some number so eye-poppingly huge, the odds that it would come out to being so utterly close to the accepted true age of our universe. That number for the two calendars could have just as easily been 7 billion… or 143 billion! But no, we rather discover a most bizarre little coincidence here instead.

When looking at the two most commonly used calendars in Western society/theological history, and their meeting up and aligning perfectly with one another, it comes out to a cycle that is nearly identical to the current age of our universe!

Now then, is there any true meaning to be derived from this or something truly exceptional to be uncovered…? Certainly not – it simply stands as a most bizarre quirk in considering the odds of that number coming down to nearly the current age of the universe itself; that the Gregorian and Hebrew calendars only come into alignment with each other and repeat themselves identically on a cycle that’s the present approximate age of this marvelous universe of ours. Such that we are only just now starting to reach such a point as to when the two calendars have completed a single cycle and repeat themselves match for match – assuming, but of course, that we’d started counting during the moment of the Big Bang itself.

It is coming across strange and bizarre stuff such as exactly this in overwhelming abundance that led me to the consideration that it perhaps wasn’t all merely astoundingly random, utterly unbelievable coincidences whose odds of occurring just precisely so staggered the imagination, but rather -just perhaps!- spoke to something else entirely different still.

And so I’ll leave it up to you to decide here, on this: Is it all just a totally random coincidence that the Jewish and Christian calendars, based as they are off the solar and lunisolar cycles and where the Earth happens to be in this solar system, have themselves a cycle of alignment that corresponds pretty darn closely to the age of the entire universe itself? Or is this another tiny little quirk that speaks to the notion of a simulated reality where those tiny – but nearly impossible in their inconceivability – little quirks instead come as a consequence of such simulated notions? Where you find bizarre coincidences with unexpected, inconceivable connections due to the sort of “glitches” or consequence of simulating just so?

Clearly, I myself take the latter notion as what and how I choose to see: That, taken alone, they might surely seem to mean very little. But, altogether, once they start adding and stacking up by the bundle full, you might just yourself start to see them in something of a very different light entirely! And it is like here, the subject matter behind and surrounding this is hardly some second thought. Instead, between Hebrew/Christian Gregorian calendars, lunisolar cycles based on the Sun and Moon, and all the many numbers and calculations involved…?

Well then, we find that this “coincidence” involves both the theological/religious, and then the scientific and mathematical, all coming together in a neat little bundle in order to yield a most strange and unusual oddity as I’ve just described above. As the entire purpose of this body of work involves taking the understandings of religion and science together as one, I myself found this particular little quirk especially meaningful in just such a regard!

To read further still on this subject, I’ll direct you to someone else who had previously come across this coincidence all on their own and wrote it up from a mathematical perspective: https://mathpolymath.wordpress.com/2013/11/27/calendar-coincidences-part-ii/

  • Our Reality Existing Inside Of Our Creators Versus Separated Realities

Another concept which rather well applies to the idea of a simulated reality is the notion of reality itself, both of our Creator’s own/our ultimate afterlife: Heaven, and then our reality that we presently exist in.

Now then, in the more traditional sense, the notion of Heaven and where our Creator also exists, is most often seen as being somehow separate from our own “level of reality”. In this way, we do not, in other words, exist inside of this higher level of reality, whereby our reality itself is actually somehow inside of Heaven. Stop and consider how the traditional sense of Heaven exists alongside our reality. We simply are not a part of our Creator’s reality in this traditional understanding, not until our souls ascend to our afterlife by moving onward. Current religious thought just finds that where we exist just now is quite simply separate from Heaven, and not “part of it” whereby it exists within/underneath this higher plane of existence. Thusly, this creates quite a problem that sees our reality as being separate from God’s own.

But when you look at such notions from the perspective of the simulation hypothesis, it is there where we can find that we actually exist inside of our Creator’s reality. In other words…? In that more traditional understanding, the question of where our reality exists and where our Creator’s reality alongside our own afterlife exists? It is essentially an open question, but one where there really isn’t any room to associate our reality as being a part of our Creators, as in it exists within it, being a lower tiered reality that is a part of (inside & below) that Creator’s plane of existence.

Yet it is with the simulation hypothesis wherein we gain an answer as to where our reality exists vis-a-vis our Creators: Our reality is “inside” of that Creator’s reality – not necessitating the literal creation of an entirely separate reality, one that’s outside of that reality. Because that traditional understanding creates a problem in this way: If our own reality is separate from our Creators, and not a part of it, then our reality can be seen as being equal to that Creators plane of existence. Much like how the idea of a multiverse works, you’d have an infinite number of spheres of existence. Here a bubble, there a bubble: Each one essentially being equal to one another, each containing its own reality/universe.

This *really* doesn’t work with the understanding of our reality up against our Creator’s reality/our own Heaven or afterlife. We have always understood that our reality is a lower tiered plane of existence up against God’s own reality. So you have two ways of understanding this: Our reality is either separated from Heaven, existing alongside of it, or else, with the simulation hypothesis, we can exist inside of and underneath God’s own reality/heaven – a part of a lower tiered universe.

Most traditional senses of religious thought definitively do not find that we exist “inside” or underneath God’s higher plane of existence. We are simply separate from that reality. There’s just no room in such thought to find that our own reality exists as a part of Heaven itself; instead finding that our reality is separate from God’s own, wherein it can be seen as being almost equal to that reality as a consequence of its being separated from God’s higher tiered plane of existence.

It’s largely with the simulation hypothesis that we can grasp a more rational understanding: That our reality literally exists inside of/underneath/below our Creator’s own. There we can begin to conceive how that reality of ours is so connected to our Makers; how we can “move on” and ascend to an afterlife, simply moving on up to that higher plane of existence where ours exists inside of our Creators reality. In this way, our reality is never equal to our Makers in just such a way, but rather it always exists below and almost subservient to that higher plane of existence.

With the philosophy of the simulation hypothesis (one quite different from my own ideas, where the simulations are always just created by human civilizations… on and on and on), there has been the thought of the problem of having a never ending chain of simulated realities: Each new reality constantly progressing along to an equal point in time where they create simulations just the same as their own was so done. Yet this simply cannot be: If a simulated reality exists on some form of technological creation inside of one reality, that “hardware” or whatever the case may be cannot be capable of handling a never ending chain of equal simulations. In other words, with the idea of the simulated reality, that reality of ours is automatically less capable than the reality of our Creator.

So we come around to the idea that fits with our traditional understanding: The reality we exist in during our formative time is not equal to our Creators. It simply can never be equal to that higher plane of existence. We exist inside of, below, and underneath our Creator’s reality. The more traditional sense, however, sees our reality as being somehow separated from our Creators. With that notion in mind, we just don’t find that our reality exists inside of heaven itself. It is instead separate from God’s plane of existence, Created in some way as to exist outside of “God’s Kingdom”.

So it is that the idea of a simulated reality coexists with our Creator’s reality: Made in such a way as to exist inside of our Maker’s own reality, and so it is never equal to that higher plane of existence, but rather is always limited by the capabilities of our Creator’s own higher tier of reality.

This also allows us to conceive of only but a singular reality: There isn’t God’s reality, then our own -dwelling somewhere outside of God’s plane of existence-, and perhaps a Hell to boot. With the simulation hypothesis, we can rather see that there is only one reality, and then ours exists inside of that one bit of Creation.

  • The Rapid Rate of Our Recent Progress (Part 2 of Addressing Human Advancement)

In summarizing our previous piece: Since the dawn of man, we’ve always asked ourselves, “Why?” Why -exactly- are we here, to begin with? What are we doing here? How have we come to be here?! Simply who we are… at all? All of those are very good questions, indeed! Equally so, all of those many different answers applied to them have remain unchanged -by and large- for countless centuries, at the very absolute least! Most of them even date back multiple millennia!

And yet… just this past century has brought with it change quite unlike anything ever before witnessed by anyone. Electricity? Transportation, with cars, planes and trains? No less, the dawn of the nuclear age? Then, the past couple of decades alone have rapidly seen such gains become exponential in magnitude- now, only every few years our technologies are totally and completely transforming the all of everything. Think about the previous 20 years: Computers. The Internet. Cellular phones. Genetics and DNA.

Then, over but the last handful of them: Tablets beget mobile devices; the Internet becomes available everywhere, no less coming at broadband speeds! Smart devices beget the Smart Home; where now we can turn simple lights off and on using any mobile device, from anywhere! Our digital devices? Not only do they currently audibly talk to us, but so too understanding us whenever we speak to them! Artificial intelligences surely aren’t very far off right now, heralding a truly unprecedented new world quite unlike any before.

  • Of Introductions and Explanations – Welcome to TekARk: A Modern Examination of Divinity

Greetings, and welcome to the first post of this new blogging endeavor of mine – a place where I intend on exploring and addressing matters of faith & existentialism from a decidedly modern viewpoint, one especially based around science and technology. That may well sound like something of an impossibility -or, if nothing else, absolutely nothing could hope to embody all of those aspects and still have it make a lick of sense- but I hope by the time I’m finished with writing this site, you’ll agree it’s anything but impossible!

I can say this just now largely because those very same things have ultimately been what culminated in my coming to starkly different sets of beliefs about… well, about everything, I suppose – and so it’s with these various beliefs of mine that this body of work will dedicate itself to properly explaining.

  • How Humanity Has Today Advanced So Very Far, Indeed! (And Yet Our Understanding of the Divine Remains Utterly Unchanged Over Millennia)

At their core, these ideas represent an alternative view of various faith-based concepts; all the while, it’s also very much a view that remains all but nonexistent in today’s world – no matter where, to whom or for what one might themselves turn. Likewise, they represent beliefs that are nothing I myself see as exceedingly revolutionary, nor anything quite so bizarre as to defy either categorization as or harmonious coexistence fitting within previous such religious thought.

Rather, I feel all of this to be only a natural evolution of our most fundamental questions or cultural/societal tenets. Somewhat crudely stated? With aspects of religion, science, technology and philosophy, it works to take what came before, along with what currently is, and to blend them both together; allowing our present understandings and level of advancement to inform, transform and, just perhaps, even somehow redefining things decidedly ancient or apocryphal in nature.

Indeed, perhaps the most important question for us to start off with considering…? Why is there a complete absence of anything remotely approaching these sorts of ideas – despite our now going on a century or better since first we might’ve begun to inch ourselves toward such (quantum) leaps forward?

  • Humanity to God – The Child to the Parent: Human Civilization as a Maturing Entity

We’re now beginning to get much deeper into things, as this post contains one of what I feel is the most central ideas to this entire body of work: Perceiving the all of human civilization much the same as any other singular maturing entity. Meaning…? It progressively grows and advances, maturing all the while, in being able to stand as something fundamentally changed from what it once was.

An idea of a linearly+progressively evolving -maturing- human civilization should not be seen as some excuse or desperate bid to explain away or dismiss certain aspects of older religious teachings. Rather, it is evidenced in every single other aspect of Creation itself: Human beings… or, for that matter, all known life. Stars and planets, alike. The whole universe!

For all things in our humble little slice of reality, there is both a time to be born and a time to die. In between those two, absolutely nothing exists in some static state, wholly unchanging all the while. To expect that Creator would imbue human civilization with such an impossible trait found nowhere else seems most irrational, just on its face.

  • Visualizing Human Civilization As A Dynamic & Evolving Entity

We -being humanity itself, far and wide; large and incalculable- are much like a single living organism in many ways (as I’ve already established). I’d now like to take a moment to step back and expand further upon this notion, trying to visualize what it really means to us, before once more moving onward.

Imagine all of our history, entailing all men, women and children who have ever walked this earth, looking up and asking ‘Why?’ Imagine it – all of them, and us, as one. Human culture, human knowledge, human wisdom, human understanding, human society, and yes, human religion. It is far too easy to take a microscopic view, seeing ourselves as singular – to imagine that we are little different as individuals from Johan the sailor two centuries prior. We were born, we were kids, we learned, we aged, became adults, began careers and families, age further still, then pass from this world. In the end, we all end up the same.

  • Foreword: Opening Thoughts

Belief is a funny thing – our faith being singularly unique throughout all of Creation as something found solely in we human beings. There’s truly nowhere else where we might also observe anything endeavoring to look up and ask of itself, “Why? How…? What?!?”, let alone anything capable of knowing any such answers to those inquiries they might so deign to make! And yet, among those individuals found to exist in the many sorts of cultures and religions that we do in fact know for ourselves? Such beliefs have also come to mean so countless many wildly different things, to so very many widely different peoples – no less, ones that are spread across the whole wide world over!

So then, all that this work ultimately represents is my offering up what those beliefs have come to mean to me personally just now, and absolutely nothing more than that; existing only as but a meager reflection of that which I myself have come to believe is true in this life of ours so far.

  • Where’s God Today? Addressing Why Divinity Would Not Interfere in More Recent Human Development

Next up on our agenda? One might begin to wonder, “Why doesn’t God step in and make His wishes known to us directly, just as He once did so long ago?” In my eyes, this is an utter absurdity for anyone to realistically expect – it would completely, irrevocably disrupt our entire existence. It would also be exactly the same as a parent stepping in to “reparent” their 50-year old adult child… no less, with that parent’s refusing to step back, let go and allow their offspring to ‘sink or swim’ doubtlessly being responsible for whatever his or her present predicaments may be; those problems which require such reparenting, even at the half century mark! What’s more, God simply doesn’t need to do any such thing! – most certainly not when He can influence and direct the very same desired outcomes, only doing so from “behind the scenes,” as it were.

There appears to be a good many here in our world today who seem to expect that, in their mind, God’s existence is somehow disproven by the lack of any (relatively recent) direct interactions with us or our forebears. All the more, many a conartist or cultist in such modern times have outright declared that, if they themselves aren’t God and/or Jesus Christ reborn, then God at the very least directly communicates to them – and to them alone! Both of these views -that God must either prove His divine existence to us by way of direct interaction, or that God really is somehow speaking to only one out of seven billion worth- are utterly incorrect, in my estimation… most especially not when God -that higher power/force- doesn’t need to do anything of the sort!
